Your book...

Just picked up your book yesterday John and I am already enjoying it. It's giving me another gear attack lol.

Question: The front cover you show a Roland VS-2480, Event 2020p monitors and a computer. I used that same Roland and monitors (well, I just switched to Yamaha HS80's for recording, and HS50's for mastering) but I've never been able to sync it to my computer, so do you you have them hooked together (and if so, HOW? lol) or was that just for the cover?

I LOVE my VS-2480's (actually I have two sync'ed together so I can have 48 tracks up top at all times) and I am so not a fan of pro-tools and dearly don't want to have to switch if I dont have too, any suggestions? :geek:

Ha! Thank you much! I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Unfortunately, that picture was used to show that all the tips and techniques in the book can be used in a small home studio. I don't own any of the gear in that cover picture. Sorry I can't help you with that.

Wow! Very nice little studio!

I wish you the very best with you music.
